My love for the music industry started back when I was a child performer in off-Broadway productions and deepened as I began to write and record my own songs as a teen. I continued to record and perform during my college years and after graduation, had the opportunity to work for a major independent label and record with well-established R&B recording artists.
Even though I am and will always be an artist first, the business of music - the intricate workings of the industry - has intrigued me from day one. Being a self-described "info-maniac", I have attended countless music business conventions and conferences over the years and I've been a faithful subscriber to Billboard magazine and several other entertainment publications for as long as I can remember. Currently, I subscribe, like and follow many of the industry’s movers and shakers as part of my professional network.
In 2007, after many years of fielding phone calls and emails from and granting impromptu meeting with aspiring artists from around the country, I realized the desperate need for a firm that would provide leadership, information, support and encouragement for these music-preneurs. With a strong to desire to serve that need, I formed the Kairotic Music Group with the intentional mission to serve, assist and support aspiring, up-and-coming as well as semi-established artists who are committed to taking their careers to the next level and beyond.
In addition to the work I do with independent artists through Kairotic, I am also a plus size model and fashion industry professional, a candidate for a Masters of Science degree in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University and a proud mom of a beautiful eleven-year-old daughter.
